Nick Scholtes, VP of Operations
Nick Scholtes is the Vice President of Operations at Control Solutions, having served in a variety of roles with the company. He proudly led the engineering department and business development prior to moving to his current role.
Nick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master's in Business Administration from Illinois Institute of Technology. He began his career in telecommunications, a field in which he worked for 20 years. He then worked with several startup companies, assisting them in gaining a foothold in their respective industries. In 2007, he transitioned to Control Solutions, where he enjoys working closely with the team to create innovative and relevant products.
Outside of work, Nick and his wife of 40 years have 2 daughters, both of whom are dentists. They keep busy living on a farm with 5 dogs, 22 goats, and countless chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. In his spare time, Nick likes to fly all kinds of different aircraft. As a Certified Flight Instructor, he is particularly passionate about teaching people to fly.
