Mobile Programmer App

The Mobile Programmer App gives you a full suite of real-time monitoring and configuration capabilities for your Phoenix and Brushed DC motor controllers. 

 

The main features of the Mobile Programmer App are as follow (view the gallery below for images):

1. Device List – Home / Connection Screen: The first screen you see on launch. Shows all nearby Bluetooth programmers and lets you connect with a single tap. Fast, reliable pairing every time.

2. Dashboard – At-a-Glance Real-Time Monitoring: Appears immediately after connecting. Displays the most important live data from the motor controller: battery voltage/SOC, temperature, current draw, speed, throttle position, faults, etc. Perfect for a quick health check while riding or testing.

3. Status Monitor – Detailed Real-Time Data (5 sub-pages): Deeper dive than the Dashboard. Swipe left/right to move between tabs - General, Throttle, Motor, Local I/O, Remote I/O. All values are read-only and update in real time. Great when you need more data than the Dashboard provides.

4. Configure – Live Parameter Tuning: This is where all adjustable parameters live (max speed, acceleration curves, regen strength, special features, etc.). Changes made in the app are sent to the controller instantly—no “apply” button required—so you can feel the difference immediately while testing.

5. Manage Files – Save, Share, Compare, and Flash Configurations: One of the most important features!

   • Save any configuration as a file stored locally on the phone (also have the ability to save to the cloud, not sure if this is available to customers yet)

   • Write – flash a saved file to the connected controller in one tap

   • Share – email or AirDrop files to colleagues or customers

   • Compare – instantly highlights every difference between the current controller settings and a saved file (huge time-saver for troubleshooting or verifying a controller matches a known-good setup)

6. Cora – Built-in AI assistant that understands our motor controllers. You can:

   • Ask troubleshooting questions in plain English (“Why is my motor cutting out at 80% throttle?”)

   • Monitor values (“What’s the current MOSFET temperature?”)

   • Directly change parameters through chat (“Set phase current limit to 200A” or “Turn 3-speed switch off”) Cora will now make the change live on the controller when you confirm—no more diving through menus.
