The DC Motor Controllers have a digital microcontroller, which runs through diagnostics during power up. If an error is detected, then the controller outputs an error code. The error code is displayed through an LED(s). This LED(s) is integrated on the user interface or throttle interface. When an error is detected, the LED(s) will flash the first number of the code, and pause for approx. 1 second. Then flash the second number of the code, and pause for approx. 4-5 seconds before repeating the error code.
CS1155 Error Code Example
Example 2-1 of error code on a CS1155
