Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Description: The Manufacturing Engineer will provide engineering support regarding the manufacturing of products at CSI. This full time, first shift position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
  • Design and layout of efficient manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Manufacturing equipment and systems, evaluation, recommendation, purchase and support.
  • Remaining knowledgeable to see that the appropriate manufacturing standards are implemented and controlled.
  • Develop and maintain accurate time, work flow, and capacity studies to ensure product delivery commitments can be met.
  • Development manufacturing equipment maintenance schedule and see that this plan is implemented.
  • Assist in analyzing manufacturing defects/fallout, and assist in implementing corrective actions for the defects.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in either electrical, mechanical, industrial, and/or process engineering, or training an experience developing equivalent capabilities.
  • Ten or more years of experience working as an engineer with close or direct involvement with the manufacturing of electrical or electromechanical products.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Ability to set up and fix a wide range of manufacturing equipment and tools.
  • Strong understanding/appreciation of Development, Purchasing and Manufacturing functions and their interactions.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write proficiently and professionally in English.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office to include Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively use a wide range of electronic and mechanical tools.
  • Ability to use software applications to obtain, understand and modify BOMs.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment on a variety of products.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings a strong plus.
