Bachelors degree in electrical/computer engineering computer science, and/or training and experience developing equivalent capabilities.Five or more years of experience working as an engineer in the development of embedded real time control systems.Ability to write real time control code in C and assembly language (Microchip PIC assembly knowledge a plus).Strong ability to read hardware/chip specification to determine coding/control needs.Ability to quickly and effectively read electronic schematics.Demonstrated ability to debug firmware.Ability to speak, read, and write proficiently and professionally in English.Ability to work both independently and on a team.Working knowledge of MS Office to include Windows, Word, and Excel.Strong analytical thinking.Ability to effectively use typical electronic test and measurement equipment.If you feel you meet these requirements, please forward your resume to employment@controls.com with “Firmware Engineer” in the subject.
